Artefact Frascati è una caffetteria specializzata nel cuore dei Castelli Romani, dove ricerca, cultura e ospitalità si fondono. Nata con l'obiettivo di portare un approccio contemporaneo al caffè nella cornice storica di Frascati, Artefact si distingue per la selezione accurata di microlotti, la tostatura di alta qualità e un servizio preciso ma al contempo cordiale.
Il menù propone sia metodi di preparazione classici che manuali, affiancati da una selezione di piatti curati e raffinati, pensati per completare l'esperienza in tazza. A completare il progetto, una mostra in stile museale dedicata alla panificazione espone una selezione di macchine che hanno giocato un ruolo significativo nello sviluppo delle nostre società, creando un dialogo tra la cultura del caffè e la storia della produzione alimentare.
Lo spazio riflette la filosofia del progetto: minimalista, luminoso e accogliente, pensato per chi desidera concedersi una pausa consapevole o approfondire la conoscenza del caffè.
Artefact Frascati si propone come punto di riferimento per appassionati e neofiti, nonché come luogo di incontro per la comunità locale, dove il caffè diventa un'occasione di conversazione e scoperta.

Artefact Frascati is a specialty coffee space in the heart of the Castelli Romani, where research, culture, and hospitality come together. Founded with the aim of bringing a contemporary approach to coffee into the historic setting of Frascati, Artefact stands out for its carefully selected microlots, quality-focused roasting, and service that is precise yet approachable.
The menu features both classic and manual brewing methods, alongside a concise and thoughtful food offering designed to complement the experience in the cup. Adding another layer to the project, a museum-style exhibition dedicated to breadmaking showcases a selection of machines that have played a significant role in the development of our societies, creating a dialogue between coffee culture and the history of food production.
The space reflects the project’s philosophy: minimal, bright, and welcoming—designed for those looking to take a mindful break or to explore coffee more deeply.
Artefact Frascati serves as a reference point for enthusiasts and newcomers alike, as well as a gathering place for the local community, where coffee becomes an opportunity for conversation and discovery.

HOW TO FIND US | COME RAGGIUNGERCI
✈️ FROM THE AIRPORTS
- From Ciampino (CIA): The smartest stop. Only 15-20 min by taxi/car. It’s the perfect first (or last) Italian coffee experience of your trip.
- From Fiumicino (FCO): Take the Leonardo Express to Rome Termini, then catch the train to Frascati. You’ll be at our door in about an hour.
🚆 FROM ROME CITY CENTER
- The 20-Minute Getaway: Trains run frequently from Roma Termini. It’s a scenic 20-minute ride. From Frascati station, follow the uphill path for a 5-minute walk through the charming historic alleys to find us.
🚗 BY CAR
- Follow Via Tuscolana towards "Castelli Romani". Parking is available nearby, just outside the pedestrian area.
